Farewell to Lovedale College Council

Lovedale College bade farewell to their college council on Thursday, 25 October 2019 at a special final meeting held at Hemingways Conference Centre in King William’s Town. The council member appointments, who are made by the Minister of the Department of Higher Education, have a service term of four years.

Lovedale Acting Principal Juanita Verster said: “The council has made a very valuable impact and each member brought special expertise in their field. This has assisted the college to improve and prosper. Council members undertook their roles very seriously and often offered management critique to assist with the enhancement of the college. Their evaluations were deeply valued and implemented.”

Mr Zweletemba Ngayeka thanked the college for their gesture of appreciation and said: “It has truly been an honour to be part of a governance that has assisted with shaping Lovedale TVET College and its students’ futures. My hope is that the college will continue to thrive and flourish.”
